Rosh Hashana 5786

Dear Adath Jeshurun Family,

As we approach the Yamim Nora’im, these sacred days of awe and renewal, we are reminded of the words of our sages: “Teshuvah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah remove the sever decree.” Rosh Hashanah is not only a time of reflection and prayer, but also an opportunity to strengthen our community through acts of kindness and generosity.

This past year has brought its share of challenges and struggles locally, for the Jewish people, and in the land of Israel, but has also shown the strength of our people, our community, and our congregation. We continue to support one another, deepen our commitment to a Torah way of life, and draw closer as a congregation. As we look toward the coming year, we do so with faith and hope that Hashem will grant us peace, health, and blessing.

This year, as we gather to crown Hashem as King and seek His blessings for a good and sweet new year, we ask you to consider supporting our congregation with a heartfelt gift of tzedakah. Your contribution enables us to sustain our vibrant community, provide meaningful tefillah and Torah learning, and support those in need among us.

May your generosity bring you merit in the coming year and may you and your family be blessed with health, joy, and prosperity.

Shana Tova,

Rabbi Gershon Litt
